Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain high-performance DevOps pipelines for our large-scale SaaS platforms, including our Admin Portal. This role is critical in driving automation, ensuring reliability, enforcing pipeline SLAs, and implementing robust observability across development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines for development and production
- Automate the full software delivery lifecycle including build, test, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment
- Develop automation tools and scripts using Python and related technologies
- Define, monitor, and enforce CI/CD pipeline SLAs
- Implement end-to-end observability: monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Integrate DevOps tools to enable seamless workflows
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and pipeline issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production stability
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices
- Continuously evaluate and adopt modern DevOps tools and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3–8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
- Solid understanding of Git and build systems (Maven, Gradle, npm, yarn)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred)
- Strong knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Kafka, or similar tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD security best practices
- Experience with performance testing and deployment optimization
- Familiarity with incident management and root cause analysis
- Contributions to open-source DevOps projects
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional)
