SHI is Hiring Azure Cloud Administrator / Azure DevOps Engineer

SHI is seeking a highly capable Azure Cloud Administrator / Azure DevOps Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade Azure environments.

The role involves cloud operations, identity and access management, containerized workloads, secure networking, monitoring, cost optimization, and DevOps enablement.

The ideal candidate should have strong production exposure, understand secure-by-design Azure architectures, and be comfortable working with containerized applications, private endpoints, and enterprise networking patterns.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Operations & Administration

• Monitor and maintain Azure subscriptions, resource groups, governance controls, and cloud resources
• Support Azure services including:
  • Azure App Services
  • Virtual Machines
  • VNets
  • Load Balancers
  • Azure Databases
  • Storage Accounts
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure AD
  • RBAC
  • Azure Policies
• Perform scaling, patching, backups, DR drills, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Azure-hosted workloads
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)

Containerization & Cloud-Native Workloads

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on AKS
• Manage Kubernetes resources including:
  • Namespaces
  • Deployments
  • Services
  • Ingress
  • Secrets
  • Config Maps
• Integrate AKS with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Implement container security best practices

Identity, Access & Security

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Manage users, groups, enterprise apps, and access policies
• Design and manage RBAC using least-privilege principles
• Manage Service Principals and Managed Identities
• Manage Azure Key Vaults for secrets and certificates

Networking & Secure Connectivity

• Configure and manage VNets, NSGs, Route Tables, and Private Endpoints
• Implement Private Link and Private DNS configurations
• Support hybrid connectivity using VPN and ExpressRoute
• Configure Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, WAF, and Load Balancers

Monitoring, Logging & Observability

• Configure Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
• Implement alerts, dashboards, and monitoring solutions
• Analyze performance, security, and availability incidents

DevOps & Automation

• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD workflows
• Configure repositories, branch strategies, and code reviews
• Automate infrastructure using:
  • Azure CLI
  • PowerShell
  • Terraform
  • ARM/Bicep templates

Cost Optimization & Governance

• Monitor Azure spending and optimize resource utilization
• Implement tagging, budgets, and cost alerts
• Provide cost analysis reports and governance recommendations

Security & Compliance

• Review and remediate Microsoft Defender for Cloud findings
• Apply Azure security best practices across infrastructure and applications
• Support compliance and governance initiatives

Job Requirements

• Night Shift availability required
• Strong understanding of Azure administration and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience in enterprise Azure environments

• 2–5 years of experience in Azure Cloud Administration or DevOps Engineering
• Strong experience with:
  • Azure App Services
  • Virtual Machines
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Storage Accounts
  • Azure Databases
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Docker
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong understanding of:

• Experience with:

• Knowledge of:

• Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools:
  • Azure Monitor
  • Log Analytics

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are preferred
• Knowledge of hybrid networking using VPN or ExpressRoute is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in Night Shifts
