SmartDocs Hiring: DevOps Engineer (Night Shift) - 0 - 2 Years

SmartDocs is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure automation, deployment processes, monitoring systems, and the complete software development lifecycle. The role requires strong collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams, along with a commitment to delivering secure, scalable, and automated solutions.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD into SDLC.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Prioritize tasks and support an agile development culture.
• Learn new technologies, develop POCs, create reports, and present results.
• Develop automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Identify opportunities to automate operational processes.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for availability and performance.
• Configure and manage centralized logging systems.
• Understand programming infrastructure for Java, Python, Angular, and Spring Boot.
• Follow infrastructure and code security best practices.
• Work with the security team to ensure system security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote shared responsibility.

Core Competencies

• B.Tech / M.Tech in CSE, Software Engineering, or IT.
• Fresher to 2 years of experience in DevOps or related domains.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, or other version control systems.
• Experience with ticketing tools like Jira.
• Exposure to log management tools such as ELK, Splunk.
• Infrastructure monitoring tools: Site24x7, Datadog, Intune.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of domain management tools: Cloudflare, GoDaddy.
• MongoDB database administration experience.
• MongoDB Atlas platform knowledge.
• Azure certifications are a plus (Azure Administrator / Azure Architect).

Shift Requirement

This role requires working the 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM IST shift.
