The Software Engineer's core responsibilities will be:

• Develop object-oriented models and design data structures for new software projects.
• Implement business logic and data models with suitable class design.
• Collaborate with peers on all elements of the development process.
• Follow industry coding standards and create appropriate technical documentation.

Coding / Problem Solving / Data Structures / Algorithms

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with abstractions and comprehend fuzzy problem statements.
• Passion for solving complex and interesting problems.
• Strong foundation in computer science with competencies in data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to apply DS and algorithms to solve real-world problems.
• Design data structures and craft algorithms for complex business problems.
• Excellent coding skills with strong command over at least one programming language (Java / C / C++ / Ruby / Clojure / Scala, etc.).
• Ability to apply programming constructs in building highly complex and scalable business applications.

Compensation

Full-Time Employee (FTE) Package: ₹32,57,000 CTC

Breakup:

• ₹18,00,000 Base Pay
• ₹1,80,000 Variable Pay
• ₹3,00,000 Joining Bonus (JB) (clawback period of 2 years)
• ₹3,00,000 Retention Bonus (RB) (clawback period of 1 year from payout)
• ₹5,07,000 ESOPs (vested over 4 years, 25% per year)
• ₹1,69,000 Benefits (including relocation allowance)

Relocation Allowance: ₹80,000 (subject to tax deduction). If employment is terminated within 12 months from the date of joining, Flipkart will recover the relocation allowance.

Internship Stipend

• ₹1,00,000 per month
• ₹2,200 meal card per month
• Two-way flight tickets & 15 days hotel accommodation
