Software Engineer I

The Post-Trade division manages the firm's middle and back-office functions, including books and records, P&L, reconciliation systems, fees, regulatory reporting, and surveillance. The team focuses on achieving efficiency in treasury and finance accounting functions through technological innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Post-Trade Platform tools, including reference data management, trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, trade cost management, surveillance, compliance, and regulatory functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for new features.
• Work with teams across the organization to develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance software designs.
• Innovate and build the next generation of middle and back-office applications and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science from a top college or university.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting, and Linux systems.
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) databases is highly desirable.
• Experience in electronic trading and familiarity with financial instruments (equities, commodities, credit, interest rates, forex, cryptocurrencies, futures, forwards, and options) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
