Job Description
At Red Hat, trainees are an integral part of the team. They are not assigned to busywork or unimportant tasks but actively contribute to day-to-day operations.
They are currently seeking Software Engineering Trainees to join their team in Pune, India. Trainees will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in their field, collaborating with a broader international team both locally and globally.

Requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with a mentor to design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
- Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products (RHEL, OpenShift, or others).
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Designers, Product Management, and Documentation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Network with other talented interns in an inclusive and diverse workplace where they can thrive.
What They Will Bring
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
- Passion, curiosity, and a desire to create and explore how things work internally.
- Willingness to learn and proactively contribute as part of a wider team.
- Ability to commit to a 6-month program from June - December 2025.
