Solera is Hiring Associate Software Engineer

This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about software development and testing. Candidates will first undergo a structured training program. Upon successful completion, you will be placed in development, testing, or other engineering streams based on business needs.

You'll work in a collaborative Agile environment, participating in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new or existing applications and systems, with a strong focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Participate in an intensive bootcamp during the first 90 days to sharpen software development skills
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and test applications and systems
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on TDD/CI/CD strategies
• Help build highly testable platforms, applications, and data models
• Maintain quality, performance, and reliability from day one
• Own tasks through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Identify, investigate, and resolve system defects
• Contribute to defining non-functional requirements
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code
• Conduct software analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and team activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 0–3 years of experience in software development or testing (C# or Java preferred)
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience or familiarity with Java or .NET, RDBMS, and Webservices
• Exposure to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices is a plus
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
