Job Description

Solvative is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and improve its software development lifecycle and release processes. This remote position is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, scripting, and cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with development and IT teams to automate deployments, maintain infrastructure, and ensure system security.

Requirements

  • Automate and enhance development and release workflows.
  • Build and maintain development tools and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement software updates and fixes.
  • Contribute to project planning and management decisions.
  • Collaborate with developers to maintain compliance with development standards.
  • Ensure infrastructure and applications are secure against cyber threats.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable technical plans.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a DevOps or related software engineering role.
  • Proficient in scripting with Python or Bash.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
  • Foundational knowledge of web servers, firewalls, SSL, and web security.
  • Exposure to CI/CD concepts and pipeline design.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (certification is a plus).
  • Proficient in Linux system administration.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of advanced networking concepts.
