Job Description
Entain India is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE II) to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of large-scale distributed systems. This role involves automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements
- Implement automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
- Enhance system reliability through process automation and proactive monitoring.
- Identify and mitigate risks via assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and troubleshoot cloud and on-premise distributed systems.
- Deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for improved scalability, availability, and performance.
- Monitor systems to detect issues early and optimize performance through scale testing.
- Take ownership of production issues, perform triage, and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Contribute to cross-team SRE initiatives and align with DevOps, security, and compliance practices.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes
- Observability & Monitoring: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic
- Incident Management: PagerDuty, OpsGenie, MTTR optimization
- CI/CD & Release Engineering: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
- Logging & Tracing: ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger
- Security & Compliance: Vault, AWS IAM, Snyk
- Performance Engineering, Chaos Engineering, Capacity Planning, Dependency Management
- Cross-team collaboration with DevOps, security, and development teams
Qualifications
- Proven experience in site reliability, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale distributed systems
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals
- Expertise in automation, monitoring, CI/CD, and IaC
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Effective communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams
