Support Engineer – Terraform Cloud (Remote – India, Noida) | 6AM to 3PM IST Shift

• Resolve complex technical issues via Zendesk within SLA timelines
• Reproduce and debug customer problems using custom tools and real-world configurations
• Attend live customer installations, issue triage sessions, and debug calls
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams on technical resolutions
• Author and update technical documentation, guides, and internal knowledge base
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to proactive issue prevention
• Improve internal tooling and automate repetitive tasks in support workflows

30-Day Goals

• Deploy a basic infrastructure using Terraform Enterprise (TFE)
• Contribute to docs or guides
• Handle Level 1 support with minimal supervision

60-Day Goals

• Handle Level 1 and Level 2 support autonomously
• Provision TFE with little assistance
• Ride-along on customer installations and log file analysis
• Deploy resources in AWS, Azure, GCP using Terraform

90-Day Goals

• Lead live customer installs independently
• Root-cause critical production issues
• Implement bug fixes or minor feature enhancements
• Reproduce and escalate Terraform bugs

Requirements

• 4+ years in Support Engineering, System Admin, or DevOps roles
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical position
• Strong command-line skills on Linux/Windows
• Experience with Terraform, scripting, automation
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Interest in cloud infrastructure, IaC, and automation at scale

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks
• Previously released tools or scripts used in production environments
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (IP, TCP, etc.)
• Cloud proficiency: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Contribution to open source or SaaS platforms is a plus

Education

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent real-world experience
