Synechron is Hiring DevOps Engineer | Chennai | Pune

Synechron is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support scalable, reliable, and secure business applications. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate processes, improve resilience, and ensure high availability across on-premise, virtualized, and cloud environments.

• Scripting & automation: Bash, Python, PowerShell
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk
• Networking & distributed systems knowledge

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to banking/financial security and risk standards
• IaC best practices and compliance
• Hybrid / multi-cloud deployment experience
• Automated testing in CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure
• Automate build, deployment, configuration, and provisioning processes
• Support development teams with CI/CD and cloud-native architectures
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
• Support infrastructure migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps best practices
• Improve observability, disaster recovery, and system resilience

Experience Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or infrastructure automation
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and cloud platforms
• Experience with Agile/DevOps team environments
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Terraform Associate are an advantage
