System Development Engineer – REALM (Amazon)
Job Description
The REALM Team at Amazon Hyderabad is looking for a System Development Engineer/DevOps Engineer to provide first-level support for 100+ Amazon Transportation Technology services. You will specialize in application support for Amazon’s worldwide transportation systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
This role requires you to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software production issues, work with multiple teams, and implement monitoring and automation solutions. Your solutions will directly impact Amazon customers and improve system efficiency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and fix production software issues for Amazon Transportation Technology.
- Work with development teams to analyze reported issues and implement fixes.
- Execute SQL queries and manage configurations.
- Automation & Monitoring:
- Develop proactive detection mechanisms using monitoring tools.
- Build metrics, monitors, and alarms to track system performance.
- Automate support processes and system optimizations.
- Development & Collaboration:
- Work across multiple platforms (SQL, Java, .NET, C#, Perl, Python, SaaS).
- Assist in designing highly available, scalable solutions.
- Document technical solutions and system improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
