TCS NQT - Fresher Hiring for Engineering Candidates

TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) follows an Integrated Test Pattern for Prime, Digital, and Ninja fresher hiring. Candidates need to appear for a single test, and based on their performance, they will qualify for Prime, Digital, or Ninja interviews.

📌 Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Open for B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. / M.C.A. / M.Sc. / M.S. candidates.
• Must be from AICTE/UGC-recognized universities or colleges.

Academic Performance:

• A minimum aggregate of 60% or 6 CGPA throughout academics, including the latest semester.
• The final degree/provisional certificate should clearly state that the candidate has cleared Engineering in First Class.

Backlogs & Arrears:

• No active or pending backlogs/arrears/ATKT at the time of selection.
• All backlogs/arrears/ATKT should be cleared within the course duration.

Extended Education & Gaps:

• No extended education allowed; candidates must complete their course within the stipulated duration.
• Academic gaps of up to 24 months are allowed, provided valid documentation is available.

Course Type & Open Schooling:

• Only full-time courses are considered (part-time/correspondence courses are not allowed).
• Candidates who completed Secondary/Senior Secondary from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are eligible, provided their graduation/post-graduation was completed as a full-time course.

Work Experience & Age Limit:

• Candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply (for postgraduates only).
• Applicants should be between 18 to 28 years old.

Prime

• UG CTC: ₹9.0 LPA
• PG CTC: ₹11.5 LPA

📝 TCS NQT Test Pattern

The test consists of two sections:

Part A - Foundation Section (75 Minutes)

• Numerical Ability - 25 minutes
• Verbal Ability - 25 minutes
• Reasoning Ability - 25 minutes

Part B - Advanced Section (115 Minutes)

• Advanced Quantitative & Reasoning Ability - 25 minutes
• Advanced Coding - 90 minutes

Total Duration: 190 minutes

• The Advanced Section is mandatory for candidates aspiring for Digital or Prime offers.
• Based on the test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for Prime, Digital, or Ninja interviews.
