Team Pumpkin is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with the engineering team to implement infrastructure as code, streamline deployments, and optimize cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment needs
• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Ensure compliance and consistency with configuration management tools
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
• Resolve issues across multiple services and functional areas
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis
• Conduct infrastructure cost analysis and implement optimizations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3, Security Groups)
• Strong knowledge of AWS security and compliance best practices
• Hands-on expertise with Chef for configuration management
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure deployment
• Solid foundation in networking and Linux administration
• Proficiency with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, and ELK
• Experience deploying applications on AWS
• Ability to adopt and work with diverse open-source tools and technologies
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving
