Job Description

Tech9 is looking for a Jr DevOps Engineer to join its growing team. This role is focused on maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the full SDLC across environments. You'll work with modern cloud-native technologies, collaborate with a skilled team, and gain hands-on experience solving challenging DevOps problems in a highly flexible and supportive environment.

Requirements


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and environments.
  • Create and manage development, staging, UAT, and production environments.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (Amazon EKS).
  • Implement cloud-native solutions to enable growth and scalability.
  • Design cloud-native architectures for eligible services.
  • Improve code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Sentry, Datadog).
  • Manage database migrations and versioning.
  • Configure and maintain web servers (Nginx, Apache).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Requirements

  • Based in India with ≤45 days’ notice period.
  • 1–2 years of experience managing AWS infrastructure in Agile environments.
  • 2+ years of Kubernetes experience (Amazon EKS preferred).
  • Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, EKS, ECS, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, WAF, CloudWatch, SQS, KMS, Step Functions.
  • Understanding of microservices, stateful/stateless deployments, and workflow orchestration.
  • Familiar with cloud security and AWS cost optimization.
  • Experience with Redis, queues, and caching technologies.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and DevOps lifecycle best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
