Job Description

Tekion is looking for a passionate and driven DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and containerization.

The ideal candidate should thrive in collaborative environments, take ownership of infrastructure and deployment operations, and continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

As part of Tekion’s engineering team, you will work closely with developers and operations teams to automate deployments, manage cloud infrastructure, support containerized applications, and enhance monitoring and observability systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and production environments
  • Collaborate with developers to support application releases and troubleshooting
  • Handle Linux server administration and performance tuning
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security best practices
  • Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post-mortem documentation
  • Maintain and improve runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation
  • Proactively identify infrastructure risks and recurring operational issues

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering
  • Strong experience with Linux administration
  • Experience with CI/CD tools:
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of scripting languages:
    • Bash
    • Python
  • Experience with cloud platforms:
    • AWS
    • Azure
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools:
    • Terraform
    • Ansible
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools:
    • Prometheus
    • Grafana
    • ELK Stack
    • Datadog
  • Understanding of networking, troubleshooting, and security concepts
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience working in product-based companies
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with:
    • HashiCorp Vault
