Requirements
Job Overview – Associate Engineer, DevOps
The Associate Engineer – DevOps will enhance collaboration between development and operations teams by automating and streamlining software delivery. You will be responsible for:
- Configuring and managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, and ensuring scalability and performance of critical systems
- Leveraging automation and scripting to improve delivery efficiency and system reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (business, network, security) to deliver secure and robust technology platforms
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in design, development, and planning of automation architecture for United’s technology platforms
- Solve manual challenges with automation and participate in code reviews
- Analyze and interpret requirements from Business, Network, and Security Teams
- Introduce best practices and new technologies to solve business problems
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain platform quality and security
- Work in an Agile team environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 1+ year experience as an Automation Engineer / DevOps Engineer
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Hands-on with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (NETCONF, RESTCONF, Netmiko)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Must be legally authorized to work in India (no sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Exposure to OpenText’s Operation Orchestration platform
- Knowledge of monitoring, cloud-native automation, and orchestration best practices
