Vegah LLC is hiring Junior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Vegah LLC is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join its dynamic IT services team. This role is ideal for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience with real-world DevOps challenges across VPS, AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll work on system administration, automation, CI/CD, domain/DNS troubleshooting, SSL certificate management, and application deployments while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git
• Troubleshoot deployment issues such as environment variables, DNS routing, and SSL bindings
• Configure and manage VPS hosting, Nginx, and Apache web servers
• Handle domain management, DNS configuration, and SSL/TLS provisioning
• Write automation scripts in Shell and Python
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible
• Develop monitoring and alerting solutions for system health
• Work with Docker and deploy apps across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and load balancing issues

Requirements

• Strong Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) system administration skills
• Hands-on experience with VPS and web server configuration
• Solid understanding of DNS, networking, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, domain validation, and security best practices
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ELB, Lambda, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Docker, Terraform
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with logs and errors
• Ability to work independently during CST hours

Nice to Have

• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Experience with AI/ML tools and technologies
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Background in web development or cloud migration projects
• Knowledge of security scanning and vulnerability tools
