Vegah LLC is hiring Junior DevOps Engineer (Remote, India)

Vegah LLC is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with strong enthusiasm for cloud platforms and system administration. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world DevOps challenges across AWS, Azure, GCP, and VPS environments. You'll gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automation, cloud deployments, DNS configurations, SSL management, and troubleshooting application hosting issues while working closely with an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and GitHub Actions
• Configure and troubleshoot domain management, DNS records, and SSL/TLS certificates
• Manage VPS hosting environments and configure web servers (Nginx, Apache)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible
• Write automation scripts in Shell or Python
• Deploy and manage applications with Docker on multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Troubleshoot issues related to networking, load balancing, domain routing, and environment variables
• Build monitoring and alerting solutions for system health

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and system administration
• Hands-on experience with VPS hosting and web server setup
• Understanding of DNS, networking fundamentals, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and security best practices
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Basic understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Docker
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools, web development, or cloud migrations
• Experience with security scanning and vulnerability assessment

• Remote setup requirements: Own laptop, high-speed internet (25+ Mbps), backup power supply, quiet workspace
