Job Description

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer I to support the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure and applications. This role is ideal for early career professionals looking to gain hands on experience with cloud technologies, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI CD engineering practices.

You will work closely with senior engineers and developers to contribute to development, deployment, and engineering operations while strengthening your expertise in modern DevOps and cloud environments

Requirements

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code scripts using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Follow version control best practices for infrastructure configurations
  • Support consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning

Continuous Integration And Continuous Deployment

  • Support and maintain CI CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI CD
  • Assist in automating testing, build processes, and deployments
  • Contribute to improving release reliability and efficiency

Cloud Management

  • Assist in managing and monitoring cloud resources on AWS and or Google Cloud Platform
  • Support resource utilization tracking
  • Help implement cost effective cloud solutions

Monitoring And Alerting

  • Help configure and maintain monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Support alerting mechanisms for proactive issue resolution
  • Contribute to maintaining system performance and availability

Security And Compliance

  • Follow established best practices for cloud infrastructure and application security
  • Support compliance with industry standards and regulations

Troubleshooting And Incident Response

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and deployment related issues
  • Participate in on call rotation under guidance from senior engineers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or systems engineering
  • Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
  • Basic understanding of orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
  • Understanding of CI CD principles and tools
  • Exposure to Linux or Unix system administration
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to learn

Nice To Have

  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Associate Cloud Engineer
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
  • Contributions to open source projects or personal infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
