Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure and automation frameworks that accelerate the development lifecycle. This role is crucial to supporting Xebo.ai’s modern application stack, cloud environments, and CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor DevOps processes across the application lifecycle and improve workflows for efficiency.
• Create and maintain automation processes to reduce manual interventions and operational waste.
• Generate periodic progress and status reports for internal stakeholders.
• Configure and manage tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Redis on both cloud and on-premise servers.
• Install, configure, replicate, and plan backups for MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Work closely with product architects to resolve DevOps deployment challenges.
• Configure build and deployment pipelines for DEV, QA, and UAT environments.
• Manage and optimize databases including MongoDB and MySQL.
• Stay updated with latest DevOps, cloud, automation, and infrastructure trends.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Strong experience with Linux system administration.

• Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud environments (mandatory).

• AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer strongly preferred.

• Experience managing end-to-end DevOps projects with modern tools.

• Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, and building full CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong experience configuring and managing databases: MongoDB, MySQL.

• Good understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js (preferred).

• Working knowledge of open-source tools, cloud services, and DevOps best practices.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.

• Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and adapt to fast-paced environments.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:

  • RDS
  • ECS
  • EKS
  • ElastiCache
  • CloudFront
  • Route53
