As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with development and IT operations teams to streamline processes, implement automation, and ensure reliable software delivery across complex, large-scale environments.

RemoteStar is hiring DevOps Engineer (Bengaluru, Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate and automate workflows.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Manage incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with standards like GDPR and NIS2.
• Support operational readiness for production deployments.
• Contribute to project maturation and ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and systematic approach to tasks.
• Good knowledge of IT and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk); Prometheus and Grafana are a plus.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of technologies like Linux, GraphQL, Kafka, Couchbase, Oracle, Reactive Architecture, HTML5, Apache, Angular, WebLogic.
• Understanding of security practices, GDPR, and compliance frameworks.
• Fluent English communication skills (Dutch and/or French are a plus).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with telecommunication technologies and processes.
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies.

Location

• Bengaluru, Karnataka
• Hybrid: Minimum 2 days a week in office.
